Genevieve (Geneva) Davis Lewis,95, of Rankin, PA, passed away peacefully on February 12th 2022, surrounded by family.  Genevieve was the beloved wife of the late Robert Lewis Jr. She was a loving mother of Gladys Moore (Samuel Moore), Gina Lewis Williams (Corey Williams) and Robert Lewis (Karmen Lewis), step children Lester Frye (Crystal) and Reginald Frye (Patricia).  A devoted grandmother to her fifteen grandchildren, Cheyenne, Dakotah, Corey, Shayne, Nykea, RoShawna, Rico, WinKeysha, Jazmine, Sanaya,  Lester Jr., Celeste, Jeremy, Shannon and Reginald Jr.                          

Genevieve is survived by her nine great-grandchildren and three nieces Joan Neal-King, Connie Payne and Juanita Williams and a host of beloved cousins.

In her early years, Genevieve was born at Braddock Hospital in Braddock PA and later moved to Rankin where she grew up. She then married her late husband Robert Lewis Jr. and became a military wife and traveled the country until her husband retired. They settled in Rankin  to raise their family.

In her later years, Genevieve spent many hours enjoying her grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her sharp mind, kind heart, and passion for life. She was always ready to help in moments of need. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She is forever in our hearts.

An in-person viewing and service will be held for immediate family on February 17, 2022 at 11:00 am at Mays Ward-Dobbins 3940 Macland Road Powder Springs, GA.
