Background
On March 13, 2025, our dear friends Daphne and Steven faced the unimaginable—the loss of their beautiful baby girl, Genesis Daisy Gonzalez. She was born sleeping, just shy of 23 weeks, leaving behind a family who had already filled her world with love. She was meant to be the youngest of her family, a baby sister to two excited big brothers who had been waiting eagerly to meet her, to protect her, and to share their lives with her.
From the moment Daphne and Steven learned they were expecting Genesis, she became the center of their world. They dreamed of her first smiles, her giggles filling their home, and the countless memories they would make together as a family. Though their time with her was far too short, the love they carry for her will last forever.
Losing a child is an unimaginable pain—one no parent should have to endure alone. We are raising funds to help support funeral and memorial expenses, as well as to provide grief support resources for Daphne, Steven, and their family as they navigate this heartbreaking journey. No family should have to worry about finances while grieving the loss of their baby.
