General Lee Brown was born June 26, 1933 to Melvin and Mary Brown of Prichard, AL. He was the third of seven children. General graduated from Central High School in Mobile, AL and was a graduate of Alabama State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. He became a professional educator.
