Helen... A memory that we share: ….
. I am driving and we, four, are coming home from a party in Smithfield, late at night and the local town cop thought we were way over the speed limit and gave us ' blue lights and Hooter'. You, being more sober than 'some of us, hid the wine jug under your coat and tried to look pregnant and in pain.... our explanation for the hurried trip to Logan.... and it worked!
We were chatting the other night about early days and old friends and daughter Ann tried a few names that I could remember from school...and found Gene!!
We did manage to stay in contact for more years than with anyone else in school and for that I am thankful. Ed May and Blaine Pope were also on MY list and they are also gone.
I just wanted to offer condolence and touch base and say HI. I am limited by Parkinson's but still live alone, with help, in the same house in Edmonds and have a lot of family support...10 Grands and lots of G/G 's and all live in the area... except son Tom who lives in Denver and they have 3, the youngest just finished U Wyoming with a 4.o in Business....way smarter than her Grand Daddy..
….one day at a time, my advice to you... Ted
