I’m so sorry for the loss ..  he and Colton were always so much fun to have when I needed repairs on my appliances. He was a good friend, I’m so shocked. He will be so missed by my husband and I. Please let me know if I can help in any way.

Gene and I met thanks to social media. He and I would talk about current affairs and world issues and like old men do, the weather. From what I knew of the man he was extremely intelligent and caring.  He will be missed. My condolences to his loved ones both family and friend who are feeling his loss. I will close in his own words...GOD BLESS,NO FEAR.

This is evidently a cousin of mine; however, I do not recognize any of the names, although Clifton & Colton are family names in my Aunt Minnie Cloer Gore's  line.  Even the name Gene Ray Cloer is the name of an Arkansas  cousin, but I do recognize this particular Texas line, although I  have several collateral lines in Texas:  Uncle Sam Cloer, Great Uncle Will & Great, Great Aunt Lucretia Jane Cloer McDaniel--ALL current lines in Gainesville, Texas.  Others are in Houston area.  I'm  very sorry for your loss.  You may contact me on Facebook as Sue Creel.  My maiden name is CLOER.  I'm  a great, great granddaughter of Jacob & Lucretia Cloer who last lived together in Missouri,  although my father was born in Kennedy,  Alabama in 1892.   SUE CLOER CREEL
