Sorry for your loss Kathy and family 🙏🏾. I won't be there this weekend but will be praying. GC is missed.  ❤️

Kathy, This is a truly wonderful read of a life well lived. Thank you for sharing your heart to write his story. I always loved seeing GC, as he created a fun and relaxing vibe.  We first met at an LCC after-hours but I got to spend more time talking with him at one of your New Years potlucks. From then on, I was not only a Kathy fan, but a GC fan.

I love the life that you two created. You loved deeply, had a passion that carried over into your work, your art. The two of you had a sync both personally and professionally that few others get to experience. Both of you provided a living example of a good marriage filled with love and laughter.

I am deeply saddened by GC's death. My heart is heavy for you and family. Yet I am in awe of your spirit and intentionality to continue to live the life you two have created. GC lives on through you every day. Your work, your outreach to the community, he is with you.

I am so sorry I am unable to attend the life celebration of such a great man. I delayed a response for some time as I hoped to rearrange another commitment. I am simply not able to travel then. When you are on the boat, after his ashes have been scattered, may you feel the rainbow even if you don't see it. May you be wrapped in love and know you loved deeply.

I first met GC on January 1st, 2005 at GC's and Kathy's annual New Year's Day party in which 50 plus family and friends attended throughout the day and evening. GC was an energetic host usually found in his basement "Man Cave" playing engaging host and emcee of activities to everyone there. Through the years since then , I always found GC an energetic fun-loving guy who was happy to talk with you on just about any topic...especially his art works and his ideas on what he was planning to do next. And he was always busy doing the next endeavor. He was such an easy-going, fun-loving guy and was always a treat to be around. Lynda Dodd and I will miss him very much, and when we think of him, it will always be him with a big broad smile on his face, and a mischievous twinkle in his eye. God's speed to you Sir. And may you be eternally blessed in the afterworld. I will not say Good-Bye; rather I say "See you later." Always, your friend John Killian.

GC was full of life and love. He always had a smile, no matter what. He will be missed by so many! Your smile will be my lasting memory. R.I.P.
GC - loved his sense of humor. Such a nice guy. Glad I was able to meet with GC & Kathy since they moved to MB

Our condolences to you and your family, Kathy. We really enjoyed meeting you & GC years at those whitewater rafting trips and remember GC as such a great person. He lived a full & wonderful life and we're so glad we got to know him too! Much love from all of us.
GC loved Blueberry Pie. I loved making them for him.
