Background
In 2018, Gayle was diagnosed with CIDP, which is a chronic form of the better-known Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS), a rare autoimmune disease, which severely impacted her ability to walk and later, stand, removing her independence. Please consider a donation to the GBS/CIDP Foundation International to support research grants and patients afflicted with GBS/CIDP.
Alternatively, please consider giving to St. Joe's Medical Center, whose team cared for Gayle regularly since 2018, including in her final days with us. Gayle always raved about the place and people because of their foundation in Christian faith and how kind and supportive they were to her. Contribute to Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center
