Gavin “Ella Boy” Honokaupu-Lono Passed away on Tuesday May 2nd, 2023 At home peacefully in his sleep . Gavin had been diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago and as time went on it grew a lot quicker and more rapid than we hoped . He was a loving and caring Father, Husband, Brother, Son & Friend to those he allowed in his company . 

Gavin gave his all into everything he did while he was working for Local Union On the island of Maui before he moved to Las Vegas Nevada for a very short period of time before he had taken Ill . He lived his life to the fullest and made sure he had a great time along the way . Spreading love & Aloha was a thing of Gavin’s liking & to always give more than you receive was his Motto . He is survived by his Wife Lani Honokaupu , his 2 children Kaio & Kalena Honokaupu , along with his mother Kelcy Miyahira & Father Johnny Honokaupu & his siblings Mapumai Honokaupu & John “Kepa” Honokaupu, & will be missed dearly . 

Please Join Us in celebrating his Funeral Service on Saturday May 6th, 2023 at the Ballards Family Mortuary located on 440 Ala Makani Street Kahului, Hi 96732 at 12:30pm  until 2:30pm followed by a family dinner and celebration of life at the Wailuku community center until 6:30pm .
