MG (R) Whipple's impact extends far beyond his military service. His intelligence, integrity, and steadfastness were evident in all aspects of his life. He was a pillar of strength to his family, friends, and colleagues. His passing leaves a void that can never be filled.

I was saddened when I heard the news of The General's passing. My prayers are with the family. May God send his healing love down on the family. General Whipple was a great man and one of the best leaders I've known.
