Some great, noteworthy, and memorable things about Gary’s life:
Gary loved football. He loved everything Patriots. He was a super fan. Gary also enjoyed playing baseball, bowling, and golfing. He played baseball while he was in high school and all over the world when he was in the Armed Forces. Gary rose to the rank of MVP (Most Valuable Player) in slow pitch for the Tigers A.C. in 1982. Gary also, being from Massachusetts, jokingly coined himself as a self-proclaimed “Masshole.” Gary was hilariously funny and fun to be around. Anyone who met him liked him. He was the lovable life of the party. An empty dance floor was an open invitation for Gary to jump up and start bouncing around like a nut. He would get everybody going. He was proud of who he was and had a great way about him. Many people considered him a really good friend.
Although Gary never married, he had lots of “loves” in his life. He was definitely a great, proud, and very involved father. Gary was the strong one in the family. He took care of everyone, always making sure they were set. His motto for life was, “Eat, drink, and be merry for tomorrow we may die.” It’s sage and encouraging advice to live life, be happy in it and enjoy the very precious life we each have been given.
