Dear Townsend Family, I have many good memories and pictures of Cathy and Gary over the years. He was a loving father and husband. May you find strength in the lord.

Dear Cathy, my heart is with you as well as my prayers, even thought I can’t be there. As Gary is in the arms of our Lord, may you find comfort in that knowledge, and strength surrounded by His love.
Love, Joan
sometimes the Lord wakes you up at 3:30 am with a pressing thought. so here i am remembering a friend, brother in Christ and just a great guy. I learned alot from Gary in the two years i knew him. He's the kind of guy that always had or was always looking for a good story or looking to talk about God. he deeply loves his wife and children. and im positive is in an amazing place now. I miss the friend I made and our many conversations. so my thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family. He loved alot.--jeff j.

To my dear sister Cathy. We can rejoice that Gary is soaring with Messiah. You have much to be thankful for. Jesus has been and always will hold you. Gary, with his prayers from your home, always encouraged me with steadfast faithfulness. MAY THE LORD ALWAYS BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU. Prayers for your children and sweet granddaughter. Love Joanie and John
To our beautiful friend and sister, Cathy, and to Gary's family members:
Shalom in the Name of Almighty G-d and our Messiah Yeshua!
One memory which stands out in my mind - along with many treasured others - was how Gary would sit with Cathy and, even when his strength was obviously weakening and he was feeling pain, he would smile while watching his beloved wife dance for the L-rd during our services at Seed of Abraham. It was so precious to watch him tap his foot to the beat of the music. When the dancing was over, he would just beam as Cathy again took her seat beside him. They loved each other with a tender and strong devotion. He has been - and will continue to be - sorely missed at our Congregation. We weep, but rejoice with all of Heaven that we shall see him again one day. In the meanwhile, Cathy, don't hold back tears when you feel them coming, for G-d counts and cares about each one....and don't hold back in permitting a fulfilling life to unfold for you, as Gary would want the best for your future. We love you, and are here for you. Steph and Kimmel Schaefer
