Though Gary's passing was inevitable I was nevertheless saddened to hear the news.  I only knew Gary a brief time  but I found him to be a wonderful person.  I just wish he and I could have connected much earlier as we had much in common.  My heartfelt condolences go out to the family and his many friends.
