J. R. Gary James Render Sr, of Boonville, born on August 20, 1955, in Evansville, Indiana, to June (Hogan) and the late Jimmy Render, passed away at age 63 on November 1, 2018, in Boonville, Indiana. J. R. is survived by his loving fiancé of 12 yrs Cheryl Ellis and their four feline fur babies Saphire, Player, Missy, and Little Kitty.

J. R. was preceded in death by his son, Lewis; and sister, Diane. J. R. is survived by his sons, Gary James Render Jr., Benjamin, and daughter Julia; brother, Larry; and sister, Julie Render Mayfield. J. R. will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.

J.R. graduated Phi Theta Kappa, with a Degree of Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Technology, from Ivy Tech in 2010. He was an IT Field Services New Project Team Lead in the Healthcare industry.

J. R. Gary's hobbies were racing cars, attending and watching Nascar races, and spending time with friends and family. Koehler Funeral Home Inc is handling J. R.'s final wishes, 304 E Main St, Boonville, (812) 897-1460.
