The family of Gary Stephen Michel invites you to contribute to the purchase of a memorial tribute in his memory.
Gary Stephen Michel, a beloved husband, cherished father and grandfather, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family on January 30, 2025, in Chantilly, Virginia, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on May 27, 1958, in Queens, New York; Gary’s life was defined by loving devotion to his family, all New York sports teams and laughter. He was a man who made everyone who met him a better person and leaves behind much more than he entered this world with.
Gary’s memory will be forever treasured by his loving wife Mariann (Bounacos) Michel and his adoring children: Mariann (George), Michele (Scott), Stephanie (Andre), Stella (Josh) and Malissa (Adam). Gary is also survived by his 13 adoring grandchildren and 14 precious great grandchildren who were the light of his life. Gary is survived by family members including siblings and in-laws, nieces, and nephews who he loved very much.
Gary’s legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and all who benefited from knowing him. Contribute
