Gary was laid to rest in a small private ceremony on the morning of June 1, at Chesed Shel Emes Cemetery in Woodridge, NY — just in time for those who attended to return home for Shavuot. The urgency of the burial, dictated by both holiday timing and Jewish custom, meant many people could not be there. We will be organizing a 30-day memorial (Shloshim) for Monday, June 30, 2025 to honor Gary’s life and legacy.
