I struggled for a little bit to find the words….Gary was one of the most selfless people I had the pleasure of working with. He may not have known it, but he saved me a couple of times as well. When I got kicked out of nursing school last year because I failed my dosage calc, he told me I was going back. It wasn’t an option. This year was one of the hardest years for me, he listened and didn’t judge me. We could have full blown conversations just with our eyes. It’s so weird to walk into work and not hear “SHMAAADDERRRR.” I’m going to miss you so much, I promise I’ll make you proud.
