Gary was a phenomenal nurse who cared so deeply for his patients and colleagues. Whenever I took over his assignments, his patients always had the kindest things to say about him and the care he provided. He greeted me every time he saw me, always with a smile and something nice to say. He truly lit up every room he walked into.

He will be missed tremendously. I am deeply sorry for your loss, and I will be praying for peace and comfort for your family during this incredibly difficult time. 🙏❤️

I first met Gary when I precepted him on MICU when he was on orientation for the ER. I found out quickly that we both love kitty cats! I admired him a lot for his fun and outgoing nature. I can't believe he's gone. I am so sorry for your loss, he was a good man.

I am so sorry to hear of Gary’s passing. I transferred to the ED last year and though I was not a new nurse, this was a new field of nursing for me that I had never done before. Gary was so kind to me and made me feel comfortable asking questions about things I wasn’t sure of. He was so passionate about teaching future nurses and was so excited to start that new chapter of his career. I will miss him and am sorry I didn’t meet him sooner.
