It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Gary Allen, a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend. Born on July 20, 1963, Gary's passing occurred on December 3, 2025. His vibrant life and memorable personality touched many, leaving a legacy that will forever be cherished.
He is survived by his daughters Jennifer Yirai and Remi Jane Allen, son Ryker Allen, sister Diane Saulter, brother Wayne Allen, and niece Chrissey Bruggemann. They will undoubtedly treasure the unforgettable memories they created with Gary.
In 1979, Gary joined the military, a significant milestone in his life. His dedication to duty was evident in his years of service, a period he was incredibly proud of. His children, born on January 29, 2011, February 16, 2012, and October 1, 1986 respectably, along with his grandchildren born on July 7, 2009, January 11, 2008, and January 9, 2025, were some of his greatest life achievements. His love for them was unconditional and filled with pride.
Gary was a man with distinct preferences and a unique sense of humor. He savored hot chili peppers and spicy foods, and he never turned down an ice-cold Steel Reserve. His bookshelf often housed educational books, reflecting his love for learning. Gary's music taste leaned towards country and rock, while his love for action, comedy films, and NCIS and documentaries reflected his diverse interests. Whenever he found time, he was cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, playing a game of Yahtzee, or engrossed in gardening.
Known for his active lifestyle, Gary enjoyed long walks, jogging, and traveling to his favorite destinations, Germany and Spain. He actively supported causes close to his heart, like the Veteran’s Association, indicative of his giving and caring nature.
We will remember Gary for his distinctive baby blue color preference, his incredible wit which often left his loved ones with a burst of laughter. His openness in voicing his thoughts was admirable. Gary shared invaluable lessons from his time in the army, imparting practical wisdom to those around him. His 12 years of military service and the love he had for his children were his greatest accomplishments.
Indeed, Gary's legacy lives on in his children and grandchildren. His smile, laughter, and bubbly personality will be dearly missed. Despite the hard times, his unwavering love as a father will always be remembered. His life was a testament to a journey well-lived, filled with love, laughter, resilience, and immense pride.
