Oh my, I send my deepest condolences to Gary's family. I first met Gary when I was living in Dallas in 1976, and we immediately became friends and got to have a lot of fun together while I was there. We lost contact with each other when I moved to Colorado for college, but through the magic of internet we were able to reconnect 20 years ago. We actually got to spend some time together when I was in TX in 2006 when my Mother was near the end of her life. They actually passed on the same day, 16 years apart. It was so wonderful to spend time with him and his sweet Mama there in Arlington, and we got to share Christmas that year with her.  He was a very special man, so dear to so many, always kind, generous, and loving.  Gary has always been and always will be very special to me. I hold him close in my heart. I will miss our chats and our love of the Cowboys, even when they made it hard for us! Rest in peace my sweet Gary, I will always love you my friend.
