Gary Chambliss, a beloved father and friend, passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 57. Born on October 10, 1965, in Blakely, Georgia, Gary was known for his generous, warm, and funny personality. He is survived by his wife, Susan, his mother,  Ellen. His son, Zack (Rosa), and one daughter, Mandy Ganey (David), brothers,  Ronnie, Dennis, Bobby, Patrick, and Jay. One sister, Sandy, two grandchildren, Rylee and Parker, and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends who were considered family.

After graduating from Early County High School in 1983, Gary embarked on a successful career in brick masonry. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, spending time with his two grandchildren, Rylee and Parker, and always cheering on his favorite team, the University of Georgia Bulldogs.

A Celebration of Life for Gary will be held on April 12, 2023, at 3:00 PM at The Homestead Barn - 519 White House Rd. In Monticello, FL.  Friends and family are invited to join in commemorating Gary's life and cherishing the memories they shared together.

Gary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and his generous spirit and infectious laughter will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, fishing the abundant heavenly seas.
