Gary was a man who believed in hard work, honesty, and finding joy in life’s simple moments. He taught his family the value of working hard for what you have and taking time to enjoy the little things along the way. He loved being outdoors - whether hiking, camping, or riding his motorcycle, he found peace and freedom under the open sky.
He was the family storyteller, always ready with a tale that made everyone laugh, even during the hardest times. His stories - some true, some not so true - were a gift that kept and will continue to keep, his loved ones connected through generations. Gary had a special way of teaching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren about laughter, love, and not taking life too seriously.
Above all, Gary loved his wife, Helen, deeply and faithfully for 64 wonderful years. Their love was the heart of the family and an example of devotion and partnership that will continue to inspire all who knew them.
Gary’s laughter, warmth, and spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
We already know he’s swapping stories and making angels laugh in heaven.
