I have known, I call him, Mr Garvin, him for quite sometime and have been going to him for my haircuts for at least 5 years or more. ( Just recently I drove over to see if possible he was there to give me a haircut, that's when I saw the poster board with the news of his passing). It was a shock to me. I always wandered when he was going to retire. He was strong to be able to stay on his feet all day giving haircuts. I will always remember Mr Garvin.
My late husband, Marshall, went to Garvin for quite a while (maybe 20ish years, maybe longer). I loved going with him to hear Garvin's wholesome jokes and to hear his stories. I also loved hearing Garvin's stories about all the treasures in his shop, about his life, and about his love for his wife. He was quite the man! God bless all of his family with the fondest and happiest memories forever.
Love to all my family. Coming home mom told me to Google something and we found 2 jokes and will all said "Sounds like Uncle Garvin"!! Love you Aunt Betty, Kirk and all the crazie Cali cuz'es. Never stop the craziness!! 💕 LOVE to all!
