Garron's obituary

Garron Carwell Rogers, son of the late Walter Rogers and Emily Dixon Rogers, was called home to rest on Sunday November 14th, 2021. He was an Alamance County native and graduated from Eastern Alamance High School where he was a basketball standout. He served in the United States Air Force and later worked as a deputy for the Alamance County Sheriff's office before becoming a painter and landscaper. He was extremely caring and in his spare time loved to go fishing. He attended church at Lighthouse Christian Fellowship in Mebane, NC.

He is survived by his son Garron Bernard Rogers and grandson Zachary Rogers. He is also survived by three siblings: Bobby Rogers, Shirley Rogers, Fay R. Corbett.

He was preceded in death by four siblings: James Rogers, Maude Lea Bradsher, Betty McCandies, and Joe Rogers. He also leaves behind a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A family visitation will be held on Friday November 19th at 10:30am and will be immediately followed by a Memorial Service at 11am at Alamance Funeral Services located at 605 E. Webb Avenue, Burlington, NC.
