Miss  you buddy these 3 years without not been easiest for me but I am doing great things make you proud
This is what I know about Garrett... he is loving beyond measure, considerate, observant, kinder than anyone on the planet and the sparkle in his eye was bright enough to give the heads up that he was thinking something hilarious!  He loves his family more than they will ever know.  His mama taught him all he needed to know about Heaven, and for this, he is forever by her side.   He is wise beyond his years, he has a wicked sense of humor and is not afraid to be himself in a crowd.  He would want everyone that crossed his path to know that he loved everyone and if you were one of those that got a hug from him, you held a place forever in his heart.  He has a memory filled of laughter, love, good times with a few sprinkles of tears ... his family is his world (dogs and horses included!)  He will never be forgotten - ever ... xoxo
Family and friends of Garret,
I am profoundly sorry for your loss. I had no idea, I wish I had known about the funeral. Garret was such a wonderful young man. I enjoyed getting to know him in high school, as our aide.

I had the opportunity to get to know Garret my first year at Byers. He was such a kind young man who was always smiling. I enjoyed his company so very much and am heartbroken for his family. Praying for you all through this difficult time.

My husband and I send our deepest condolences to Garrett's family. He worked on our horses for quite some time. His smiling face and contagious laughter will be greatly missed.

What a special young man, so glad that I was able to get to know him this year. He had such a patient understanding shoeing my difficult horse, he transformed him and got him over his fear of farriers. I was in Stockyards Ranch Supply this summer, and I was telling how he had helped me. Three people joined in my conversation, all saying "Oh, I know Garrett. He is so talented at anything he does." They all told their stories to me. I left the store, amazed at how Garrett had touched all those people. My heart is so heavy with grief, I pray for all who know Garrett and their healing and comfort.
A good heart has stopped beating, a good soul has ascended to heaven closer to God.
I was Garret’s 3rd grade teacher. We had a great relationship, and I’m blessed to have been a small part of his education experience.
Garret and I really enjoyed talking about horses, rodeos, what was going on at the NWSS. Actually, I’d talk to him about anything in order to get him to do his writing assignment.
Never in my wildest dream did I ever think Garret would be our farrier. When he first came to our place to trim our horses, I was so excited to see him. He gave me the greatest hug that I will always cherish. I was so proud to see the talented horseman and person he had become. It was such a blessing we were able to “catch up”. Of course I had to ask him, “Garret, do you still hate writing?” His answer... “Yes Ma’m!”
Garret will be terribly missed. However, we will cherish, honor, and embrace your memories in our minds and hearts forever.
My sincere sympathy goes out Garret’s family. God Bless🙏🙏🙏🙏
Garrett was a wonderful young man. It was an honor to know him. He will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
I didn't know him but I am so very sorry for your loss. I've heard stories about what a remarkable young man he was. Tragic. Prayers for his family.
Thank you for providing a way that we can help celebrate Garret’s life by giving to something that would mean so much to him.

Remember a broken heart takes time to heal. Your faith, family and friends will help you get through this difficult time.

From the moment we are born our life is in God’s hands.

With love and blessings from Fred and Charlie
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.

Garrett, Riley and myself were at Rodeo bible camp, the Rodeo just ended and it started poring rain. Riley and I were running around laughing and stuff. Garrett walks up to us and he says “ Hey girls just to let you know your suit cases are getting soaked” Riley and I look at each other run across the fair grounds to get to our stuff and Garrett’s just laughing at us. We get back to under the bleachers were they were giving awards and Garrett looks at us shakes his head and just starts laughing.
