I will never forget the kindess you showed me when I was a homeless teenager. Up to no good you showed me how valuable my life was and taught me my worth. I remember you teaching me how to grocery shop at Aldis when I was 17! Such a simple thing that meant the world to me. You were the only one who cared enough to help me when I was at my lowest, and protected me from harm when a failed relationship showed up on our doorstep. Learning how to play pool from you is another memory i will always cherish. I love you Gale and will forever miss you. Rest easy my friend.
Gale.. You are my best friend. For the past 16 years, you have been the one to always give me advice. I will find a new advice giver...but things will never be the same. I love you so much. I have my memories, and I know you know I still have your Harley pig. I will make sure to send it to Deric. I'm so sorry I procrastinated on sending it to you. I bought you a cup I was going to send with it...but I'm gonna keep that. Wish I could hear your voice one more time..thank you for being my best friend, even in my darkest time..thanks for letting me choose our playlist every time, thanks for watching stand up comedy with me, six feet under, white oleander, green mile..thanks for trading off books with me..thank you so much for all these memories. And thanks for finding a way to send me a sign almost immediately after I found out.. You'll stay in my heart forever. "The only real love is a best friend's love"
He was married to my sister, Carol. I remember them in their happiest time. Game nights together with Mike Martin. When I moved to California, they moved the last of my belongings for me. I didn’t witness the bad times and for that I am grateful.
Gale took me in when I was 16yrs old and on the streets. I was young and dumb, and he showed me how to live. Gale taught me some of the most valuable life lessons there are and I still use those lessons today. Gale will always hold a special place in my heart. I will always miss him.
