Gale Ann Foster

67, of New Kensington, died Wednesday January 21, 2026 in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. She was born in Pittsburgh on October 26, 1958 to the late Stephen J. and Nellie Alakamovitch Horvath and has been a resident of New Kensington since moving from Penn Hills in 2022.

Mrs. Foster worked as a licensed clinical social worker for Wesley Family Services, New Kensington. She had also worked as a LCSW for Deer Lakes School District, Western Psych and Resuscitation Research Center.

She enjoyed scrapbooking, spending time with family and friends, and traveling, especially trips to Myrtle Beach, Virginia Beach, and Gatlinburg, TN. She was deeply dedicated to helping others in need.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years Dennis S. Foster, daughter Molly (Charles) Beighley of Springdale, son Andrew (Julie) Foster of Glenshaw, two grandchildren Hannah and Cole Beighley and sister Sharon Jameson of Carnegie.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Stephen Horvath.

Friends will be received Friday from 6-8 PM at THE RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Rd. at Alder St. where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 AM by Rev. Dean Ward.
