For what will forever feel premature, our beautiful mother, Gail Marie Jones, passed away on October 10th in Cagliari, Italy. She is sweetheart to one, mother to ten, though she mothered many more, and grandmother/Grandma/Nana/Grammy to twenty. She advocates fiercely for her family, lives every day with purpose and never stops learning. Serving is part of her stride. She could often be found swooping up and calming a fussy baby, teaching or performing some of her musical talents, gathering and feeding scores or quietly calming an anguished heart. Her latest career as a marriage and family therapist extended her loving reach even further. Our family has been comforted by hearing about even more souls she has lifted. She could only be who she was  because of the unwavering support from her best friend. They have always been one. 

We plan to celebrate her accomplished life full of love in San Diego on Saturday, October 28th at 11AM. For any that would like to come or watch her service streamed, please check this website for updates on her service as logistics of bringing her home are worked out. This website can also be used to share memories, photos or videos of our mom. We welcome any that her friends and family would like to share. We are so grateful for the love, support and prayers that have been expressed for our family, particularly for her sweetheart.
