Gail's obituary
Gail was born April 21, 1953 in Elizabeth, NJ. She graduated from Battin High School in Elizabeth, NJ in 1972. She was subsequently employed by the City of Elizabeth for the next 50 years. Gail started her employment as a Clerk in the Elizabeth Police Station. She was soon transferred to the Office of Vital Statistics in Elizabeth City Hall and was appointed the Local Registrar in the early ‘90s. She held that position until her untimely death.
Gail was predeceased by her husband of 15 years, George Ithurralde who passed away June 26, 2022 after a long illness. Gail is survived by many friends and colleagues, as well as one brother, two sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
