Loving mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, Gail Thomas, a treasured member of the Baltimore community, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024, at the age of 79. Born on March 10, 1945, Gail was known for her radiant spirit, generous heart, and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. Her kindness and infectious laughter touched everyone she encountered, leaving an unforgettable impact on her family, friends, and neighbors.

Gail’s life was a beautiful testament to love, strength, and faith. She shared 20 wonderful years of marriage with her late husband, Edward Thomas, a partnership rooted in mutual respect, devotion, and countless cherished memories. Together, they built a loving home filled with laughter, warmth, and hospitality. Gail found joy in the simple pleasures of life and always ensured those around her felt loved and cared for.

As a devoted mother, Gail took immense pride in raising her children, Shawn Thomas, Sherell Faison, Shelly Fonce, and Sonya Thomas. Her guidance, love, and sacrifices were the foundation of their success and happiness. Her heart expanded even more with the arrival of her beloved grandchildren: Serenity Thomas, Protege Scarborough, Icis Thomas, Konstance Thomas, Zacharis Scarborough, Monica Faison, Morgan Faison, Mia Faison, Bryson Fonce, Jasmine Fonce, and Jamie Fonce. She celebrated their achievements and milestones, ensuring they always knew how deeply they were loved.

Gail was a woman of deep compassion and generosity. Her passion for helping others was evident in her daily life, whether it was comforting someone in need, offering a helping hand, or sharing words of encouragement. She had an innate ability to connect with people, making everyone she met feel valued and understood. Her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ was the cornerstone of her life, and she lived each day as an example of His love and grace.

A true entrepreneur at heart, Gail embraced challenges with determination and creativity. She inspired those around her to pursue their dreams and believe in their potential.
