Gail's obituary
We are profoundly saddened to announce the passing of Gail Corrigan, a beloved aunt, heart mom, friend and monument of kindness, on September 23, 2025. Born on March 31, 1941, Gail was a warm, devoted, and caring woman who enriched the lives of those around her with her angelic presence.
Gail is survived by her heart daughter, Aimee Falkenberg, and her nephew, Grant Falkenberg, who will perpetually feel her absence. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Gary Corrigan, her mother, Emily MacDonald, and her brother, David MacDonald.
A woman of simple yet refined tastes, Gail had an affinity for sushi and was particularly fond of the culinary masterpieces conjured by Grant. She enjoyed sipping Pinot Grigio while listening to the dulcet tones of Elvis Presley. Known to get lost in the dramas of "Young and the Restless" and the investigations in "Dateline", Gail found delight in the narratives they spun. Keegan was her favorite companion in games, and the thrill of live theater never ceased to entertain her.
Gail relished her walks to Mooi Hair Salon, often taking a detour through Mercedes Lane or stopping for sushi at Samurai Sushi. Her love for animals led her to champion their rights. Her very favorite roommate was her Ragdoll cat Vancey whom she loved DEARLY. Ever enthusiastic about the color pink, Gail's vibrant personality painted the world around her in the same hue with a few extra bling and sparkles to ensure she stood out from the others :)
Gail received the Golden Circle for fifty years activity in Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. BSP is an international friendship sorority. She was also a very staunch supporter of the British Royal Family.
Described as an angel by those who were fortunate enough to know her, Gail was always patient, understanding, and kind. She advocated treating everyone with love and kindness, a lesson deeply imprinted on those she left behind. Gail has undoubtedly left a legacy of kindness that will remain etched in our hearts forever.
Today, as we remember Gail, we honor the love, wisdom, and beauty she brought into the world. Gail Corrigan will be deeply missed but her spirit will live on in the kindness she has left behind.
