On Tuesday, April 27th 2021, Gabriel Joseph Swiden, passed away at the age of 55, after a long battle with complex medical issues.

Gabe is deeply missed by his children, Shelby and Matthew Swiden, as well as by his parents, Manahy and Sam Swiden, his siblings, Albert, Rana, and David, and many other members of his extended family and friends.

Gabe was always known for his quick wit, and kind heart. His sharp mind led him to a career in information technology. He was well respected throughout his profession.

Gabe always put family first, and was a dedicated father. His kindness and wisdom was appreciated by everyone. One of the many gifts that God gave him, was his ability to empathize. He cared deeply for everyone, and would do anything for anyone, before doing for himself. Each of his relationships were unique and special. He made an impact on every person who crossed his path. The legacy of his strength, compassion, and unconditional love will live on.

No matter what life threw at him, his humor and positivity remained. He never complained, and always managed to keep his hope alive. His strength was astounding. He will be deeply missed by many, and he will be remembered with vast affection.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 1st 2021 at 1:00 pm at Williams Lake Church of The Nazarene, 2840 Airport Road, Waterford Twp, MI 48329. An outdoor reception will be immediately following at 8974 Posey Dr, Whitmore Lake, MI 48189.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan. This organization helped our family a lot in the past ten years, and we know it would mean a lot to Gabe to support them the way they supported us.
