JUNEAU, ALASKA — Gabe Kennedy, 30, died suddenly on Nov. 2, 2019.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life for Gabriel was held at 1 p.m. on Dec. 7, 2019 at Living Word Church in Oak Harbor, Washington.

Friends and family are encouraged to attend a Celebration of Life Memorial Concert being held at 6:30pm, January 24, 2020 at Juneau Christian Center, 8001 Glacier Hwy, Juneau, Alaska.
An Evening of Music, Performing two of Gabe's original songs and some of Gabe's favorite cover tunes.

Gabe was born and raised in Juneau, Alaska, and later moved to Washington state.
He was always happy and joyful and could be found often at local venues playing his favorite and original songs on his guitar.
Gabe was an avid snow boarder, who loved nature and the outdoors until, on May 8, 2014, he suffered severe injuries as a pedestrian in a hit-and-run accident in Reno, where he was working in the telecom field. The accident left him without most of his right leg, many broken bones, multiple head injuries and the loss of his stomach, which resulted in severe ongoing pain. Still Gabe managed to bring joy to many with his upbeat demeanor and comic wit.
Gabe’s family would like to say thank you to all of the friends and family members who stood by him through his recovery after the accident and beyond. We know it was the strength of your love that extended his days.
In lieu of flowers, a permanent memorial place will be set up for Gabe at a later date. A paver has been purchased in Gabe's memory which will be included in the courtyard grounds of the new Alaska Airlines Hub in SeaTac, Washington spring 2020.
