Background
Wounded Warrior Project was especially meaningful to Gabriel because veterans had always held a deep place in his heart, as he was one himself. He devoted much of his life to supporting fellow veterans in every way he could, with a strong focus on their mental and physical well-being after service. Having witnessed the sacrifices they made in defending our nation, he was determined to ensure they were never left to struggle or suffer once they returned home. Giving back to wounded veterans was deeply important to him, as he believed it was a way to honor the risks they took and the lives they put on the line for our country. Supporting the Wounded Warrior Project was one way he stayed connected to that purpose and to a cause so close to his heart.
