Fredrick's obituary
Fred or Freddy as he was known to family and friends was born on December 30, 1968 in Vietnam to Hoa, “Linda”, and Fredrick Weisenberg. He graduated from Parkdale High School in 1986, and he worked in the field of construction specializing in window installation in high rise buildings. Fred raised two sons, Anthony Weisenberg and Jason Wood. Fred was a passionate sports fan that grew up playing soccer and later coached his son’s soccer team. He was known for his lively spirit, he was a great comic collector, intense poker player, and loved football and hockey.
Fred was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ivan Bilicic. He is survived by his mother Hoa, his two children, Anthony Weisenberg and Jason Wood, with Renee Wood, his brother John Weisenberg, five sisters Shirley Luu, Chrissy Weisenberg, Kim Weisenberg, Helen Truong, Jackie Stewart, three grandchildren, Brandon, Layla, and Jason Wood Jr, nieces Diana Clough, Amanda Luu, Chelsea Leake, Lindsay Cave, Leanna Truong, Ashley Weisenberg, Jade Luu, Sophia Stewart and nephews, Christopher Cave, Steven Weisenberg, Ryan Thomas, Michael Luu, and James Stewart.
A viewing will be held at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home at 3401 Bladensburg Road Brentwood, MD on Saturday March 7th, 2020 from 6-8:30PM. A viewing will also be available from 11-12AM on Sunday March 8th, 2020 with funeral services to follow at 12PM at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home. Flowers may be sent to the address listed.
