Frederick (Mike)'s obituary
Frederick Michael "Mike" Cutler, 72, of Howard City, MI, passed away on July 9, 2025. Born on August 14, 1952, Mike dedicated over 50 years to his career as a master electrician and held the position of substation foreman. He was a respected member of the IBEW board until his retirement from Newkirk Electric in 2015. Mike was a passionate outdoorsman who cherished time spent hunting with his grandchildren and tending to his yard. He was a fervent supporter of his children and grandchildren’s sports activities, attending events in competitive cheer, football, baseball, and wrestling, always cheering them on from the sidelines. He leaves behind a loving family including his brother Chuck Cutler; sons Jason Cutler, Bryant Figley (wife Tania), Fred Figley (wife Jamie), and Michael Ogg. His legacy continues through his grandchildren Christian, Richard, Cameron, Jasper, Stone, Natalee, Nevaeh, Hayden, Camden, Cullen, and Katelyn, as well as great-grandchildren Kaidyn and Huxton. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 38 years Missey Cutler (Ogg), grandson Bryer Figley, his parents Charles and Betty (Beduhn) Cutler, and his sisters Peggy and Sandy and many other relatives that are no longer with us. Mike’s life was marked by his unwavering love for his family and his community, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Celebration of life will be held Aug 23rd at 2 pm at the American Legion Post 381,
