Fred was an Internet pioneer and a friend and a mentor for Internet Society Hong Kong, and many other organizations and events in Asia Pacific, and all over the world. We miss him.

Fred was one of those forces that educated me on IPv6; while we debated a lot on the security and the needed improvements it afforded me the time to learn from him and bond to collaborate with him on a few projects.  It has been an honor to work with such a giant whom I will miss. 

My deepest condolances to the family.

Fred was such a kind and generous friend.  We thank God for his life and the legacy of faith and love he has left for his family and friends.  May God comfort your hearts as you grieve his loss.  Sharing in the great hope of our grand reunion to come around the throne of Jesus!!
