As Fred was an animal lover (especially cats), his family has decided to honor his memory via directing loved ones to give a memorial donation to a local charity, Foster Army Animal Rescue & Thrift Store (based in Riverside, CA). FAAR is an amazing organization with a truly inspiring mission. All proceeds from the thrift store and all donations go toward paying the medical bills and expenses for animals that FAAR takes off the euthanasia list at shelters. Fred loved FAAR & its mission, and he donated to their cause on a routine basis.
