Freddie J. Mace was born to Ed and Mary Ann Mace on November 16, 1955 at the Rifle Hospital in Rifle. He lived in Silt Colorado. He went to school in Silt Colorado, New Castle and Rifle. He graduated from Rifle High School in 1974. After graduation he married to his High School sweetheart Verna Romero. He joined the army and they moved to Colorado springs bass. They had 2 kids,a girl and a boy. They moved back to Rifle Colorado to be here to mom and dad and grandparents. But when they got back there was a big surprise a 3 year old girl. He went to work in a cole mine and got the black lung. He got MS too. Then he got divorce from Verna Romero. He moved to Grand Junction to be close to the vet hospital to get the treatment for the MS. He died on April 30,2003 at his house. He is servied by his ex-wife Verna Romero, a daughter,a son and a grandson. He preced by his mother and father and grandparents and aunt.
