Lynn loved to dance. When he first returned from Vietnam, he went dancing all the time even though he had not been fitted for his prosthesis!!! This man loved to dance!!!!!

Lynn went to Channelview High School with Gene Prouse, Harold Heard, Jim Boeker, and many mutual friends. Gene Prouse was my husband. When Lynn returned from Viet Nam, we spent our times together enjoying the Houston area party scene, and many other times together. We spent our time  following The Soul Brothers. Inc. from the Bawana Club, to the Castaways, and to the Shandy. The band included: Charles Greenway - Organ/Vocalist, Henry Boatright - Saxophone/Flute/Vocalist, Johnny Prejean - Drums, George Brown - Bass/Vocalist, and Cliff Faldowski. Those were the best of times!! I  loved Lynn like so many others. He will be missed.

The Charlton and Carnathan kids grew up together.  We vacationed together every year.  Then mom and dad lived on the hot hill at Inks Lake next to Mac and Doodle for years.  Such a part of our lives he was.   I still remember standing on the bank at Inks Lake with tears in my eyes when he water skied after losing his leg in the service.  We were all watching and holding our breath.  We all spent so much time together as children, then with our own children.  Still remember Jennifer with that baby duck at Buchannan.   Wonderful memories.  So thankful God put all of us in each other's lives.  How awesome to spend a lifetime with such a wonderful family.  Miss all our parents, Stacy, and Lynn.  Love and condolences to the family and friends.

The first time I saw Lynn was in a very early Channelview annual. He was walking down the hall with Carolyn Fenley and others. We were about to move to Channelview so I was checking out the kids. Turns out our Parsonage was built across the street from Lynn's home. He was always a wonderful guy and friend. My prayers are with the family and friends who loved him so much.
I love this sweet man and hate to hear he has passed. You will be missed. I dated him many years ago. Love love love you
