Fred Douglas Locklary Sr affectionately known as “Megga Munch”
Age 49 was born on May 25.1973 In Newburgh Ny to Grace and Fred Locklary Jr.
On February 28. 2023 He answered God's call and Entered into eternal rest.
Fred graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in 1991 (Sweet-Daddy).
He furthered his education by attending Suny New Paltz College, later transitioning into a prominent career in the aviation field. At the time of his death Fred was employed with DNATA Grounds Handling Services in Newark Nj as General Manager.
Fred was a man of Great Integrity, protector and provider who always put his family and loved ones first.
He was joined in Holy Matrimony to Shanya McCallop- Locklary in July 2006, And the two shared 17 years of marriage and 17 years of courtship, Fred and Shanya shared 34 years of endless love together and three beautiful children and three beautiful grandchildren.
Fred was a Hard working man who loved to come home to spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved traveling with his Wife, watching “lifetime” movies with his Mom, Doing home improvements with his Dad, Playing poker with his Big Brother and the fellas and Studio sessions with his Little Sister.
He was a talented Hip-Hop Artist well known by Many in the Entertainment Industry.
Fred Contributed over 30 years to the Inner City youth Programs touching the lives of many adolescents.
He leaves to cherish his loving Parents Fred and Grace Locklary. His loving devoted wife of 34 years Shanya Locklary(Daughter of Mildred and Simpson)
One Daughter Laquasia Smith-Locklary(Atlanta Ga) 2 sons Fred Locklary Jr and Marcellus Locklary both of Newburgh Ny, 3 Grandchildren Jasai’, London and Kali Locklary
