Franklin's obituary

Franklin Earl Tupps (1945-2025)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Franklin Earl Tupps on June 26, 2025, at the age of 79.

For those who knew Earl, you know there is no one else like him.  He taught his girls what hard work looked like and to never shy away from it, and that helping others was the biggest blessing in life.  When things were not going as you planned, you keep smiling and keep working.  His big heart, big laugh, and all of the pranks he loved to pull will be dearly missed.  We already miss hearing those spurs that he never took off.  If you ever took a picture with him someone had bunny ears.  He gave his girls the love of horses and rodeo life, inevitably calling out, "come on boys"  to them and they knew it was time to go. This love was passed down to 9 of his grandkids.  The other three "city slickers" loved showing him off at school on Cowboy Day.

Earl is survived by his four daughters and their children.  Tye Green, married to Steven Green and their five children Hunter, Trevor, Morgan, Cooper and Scout.  Mikah Littwin, married to Ken Littwin Jr and their three children, Kenny, Hannah, and Isaac.  Lana Tupps and her 2 children, Kaden and Charlie. Finally, Sarah Kincheloe, married to Scott Kincheloe and their 2 children, Cleo and Macie.   Earl is also survived by his first wife, Linda Verniero, and Earl's siblings, Ida Jo Busnardo married to Mario Busnardo, Norma Jeanne Sexson, and Kalvin "Bud" Tupps.  Earl was a father figure to Victoria Goodwin-Johnston, and companion to her mother, Donna Goodwin.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 24, 2025 at the Cody Stampede Grounds in Cody, WY.  The service will begin at 2:00 PM.
