Frankie's obituary

Frankie Mae Pumphrey was born to Frank and Louise Egland in Hamshire, Texas, on May 26, 1928.  A lifelong resident of Beaumont, Texas, she married Clifford S. Pumphrey, and from that 35-year union, four sons were born.  Frankie was preceded in death by her husband Clifford and sons Michael and Ronald.

She was an active member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, enjoyed Bible studies, and attended services.  Her religious beliefs were a top priority even when her health declined, so she could not fully participate in weekly services.

In passing, she leaves to mourn her passing sons Clifford S. (Denise) Pumphrey and Donald (Loyce) Pumphrey, Cynthis Pumphrey, grandchildren Tamika Pumphrey, Clifford S. Pumphrey III, Christina Pumphrey, Justin Pumphrey, Dawn Nicole Pumphrey, Amy E. (Pumphrey) Dillow, Anthony Pumphrey Jr., Candice Pumphrey-Godfrey, Derick Pumphrey, Tiffany Spencer, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

SERVICES:   Friday, April 14, 11:00 am Graveside Burial at Magnolia Cemetery of Beaumont, Texas.  Directions to this site are vital, and this stems from the fact that Magnolia is a very large cemetery with many burials simultaneously taking place daily.

Mercy Funeral Home of Beaumont, Texas Website will post directions to the burial site at Magnolia Cemetery under her Obituary. (www.mercyfuneralsysteminc.com)
