Frankie's obituary

Frankie Antwynekia Nicole Nashelle Nicholas Anderson, affectionately known as "Pooney" and "Slim," passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 53. Born on May 20, 1972, she was the beloved daughter of the late Frank Lee Anderson Jr. and Sally Mae Leamon Anderson.

A woman of deep compassion, Frankie lived a life devoted to her family. Her greatest joy was her son, Dr. Edward J. Anderson, and she cherished every moment with her two grandsons, Ellison and Micah, who were truly the light of her life. Frankie shared an unbreakable bond with her sisters, the late Angela Leamon and her surviving sister, Alonda Anderson. She also treasured her relationships with her daughter-in-law, Cassie, and her nieces and nephews: Tony, Patrice, Reginald, Amber, Keonna, and Keon.

Frankie is survived by her two brothers, Damous Anderson and Franklin Fuller, and her two sisters, Alonda Anderson and Maketta Harrison, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Her kindness, infectious laugh, and gentle spirit will be remembered by all who were blessed to know her. Her memory will forever be a blessing.
