Frank Manuel Valenzuela, affectionately known as Boonie, entered into rest on May 12th, 2025, at 6:01 PM.

A born entertainer, Frank was the driving force behind the local dance troupe "The Great Pretenders," leading them in countless performances throughout the Valley—from the Arizona State Fair to the Tempe Block Party. His love for music knew no bounds, and he was the heartbeat of every dance floor he graced.

Frank was a fierce and loyal friend, known for his ability to bring people together and create community wherever he went.

He is preceded in death by his mother Mary, father Frank Sr., grandparents including Isabel, Manuel, Eduardo, and Maria as well as his beloved children Estevan and Iyanna.

He is survived by the great loves of his life: his devoted daughter Christal and son-in-law JD, and his grandchildren; Ashe and Nate. He also leaves behind his godsons Andrew and Matthew, his brothers Marc and Patrick, and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends who became family. All who knew him will miss him dearly.
