Dear Matthew, Christina, Jack, Robert, and family,
Thank you for the beautiful memorial service for Frank.
I wanted to share with you his personal thoughts on a discussion we had on what is the definition of a "Junzi" (Superior Person): The ideal person who cultivates virtue and moral character through education and self-reflection, according to Confucian virtues.
This was in Frank's own words.
"I think it's being able to live a life following Christ teachings. I have a parent who allowed me to grow when young. I have many mentors who guided my life. I have a mentor who taught me how to play chess and taught me the are of public speaking. Another one taught me the art of dealing with people. Another taught me about politics. Another taught me the secret of success and about art. She also taught and showed me what success was all about.
I have so many people who help me. I dear not shamed them. They showed me so much care and kindness, how can I not care and be kind to people that I am in contact with each day.
Am I a superior man? No, just someone has received God's many grace. He gave me the ability to do things. And I had a lot of help.

Dear Matthew, Christina n family,
Tho’ we live an ocean apart, there are many cherished memories of decades of friendship. Frank was so sincere, kind, and thoughtful. Love his playful smile and humor!😁 He will be missed but being reunited in spirit with Ethel is a heavenly blessing.
With warm aloha,
Billy n SN ( as we were known to Frank)
