I met Frankie in 2020 while working in Ventura as a hotel manager. Although he was not in the best of circumstances at the time- he showed such a compassion, strength & resilience  that I had not encountered before in such a young soul. We had so many conversations & thru that I learned that he truly loved his family and missed them so much. Despite his life challenges, he was always smiling and willing to offer a helping hand. His smile would just light up an entire room for sure! He shared stories of his life and shared moments of laughter with me over meals and when he'd come by and just hang out in my office when he needed a place to go. Wether it was a shower, a meal or a clean room to sleep in. Or even just showing me the dope music he liked to listen to. I learned of Frankie's passing just recently around his birthday when he crossed my mind and I inquired with people that knew him about why I hadn't seen him in recent years. I am happy and feel blessed to have shared just a little bit of time with him while he was in Ventura. I keep his memory dear to my heart. My condolences to his loved ones. He taught me to keep smiling despite the pain we may feel especially during moments of uncertainty. His memory will live forever in my heart.
