It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Frank Emil Rodrigues, born on August 31, 1937, who left us on March 30, 2023. An inspiring figure, his life was a testament to generosity, compassion, and a deep commitment to humanity.

Frank leaves behind a heartbroken family who cherished him immensely. He is survived by his children; Felipe Rodrigues,  Ana Luisa Orrego, Marcela Johnson and Vivi Rodrigues. His light will always continue to shine through his loving grandchildren; Rebecca, Gabriel and Raquel Rodrigues, Sophia and Eduardo Orrego, Abby and Izzy Johnson and Danilo Vigil.

Frank was a man of simple tastes and great joy. He relished Guatemalan Tamales, Chiles Rellenos, and Huevos Rancheros with refried beans, complemented by his favorite, black coffee for breakfast. He enjoyed sipping water, grapefruit juice, and cherished the occasional Ron Botran.

Frank was an avid fan of staying apprise with world news events as he enjoyed traveling. In his free time, he found solace in meditating, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. His favorite form of exercise was long-distance cycling, a reflection of his resilient spirit and love for nature. He held dear to his heart the memories of his favorite vacation spot—the Sawtooth Mountains in Idaho. He reveled in the  fall because of Thanksgiving which was his favorite holiday, but Christmas and the approaching New Year always found him solemn with a hint of sadness. 

At the center of Frank's life was a deep-rooted sense of humanity and a desire to contribute towards a better world. His causes spanned from helping those in less fortunate circumstances to preserving the world for future generations—a reflection of his altruistic character. He raised many foster children in Central and South America and gave them educations and opportunities they otherwise may not have had.

Frank is remembered as witty, prompt, and polite with a mischievous twinkle in his eye. He had an insatiable curiosity about people and an incredible capacity to take a genuine interest in others. His profound wisdom included lessons of preserving the planet and striving to leave a better tomorrow for his children and their children.

The legacy left by Frank Rodrigues is one of kindness and generosity. His spiritual richness and moral compass were his greatest gifts to the world. He will be deeply missed but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.
