Frank's obituary
Frank was born on March 17, 1947 in Bronx, NY to Nicholas and Grace (Grippo) Plantamura. After he graduated from Plainview High School in 1965, Frank joined the US Army as part of the Vietnam war draft. Upon completion of his honorable service, he managed a print shop in Hicksville, NY and eventually opened his own offset print shop in Syosset, NY which he ran for over 30 years. He then spent over 10 years tirelessly working for the Sachem School district as a member of their custodial staff.
Frank is survived by his daughter Dawn, his son Frank and wife Tina, his three step-grandchildren, Christopher, Charles, and Ethan, his brother Richard and wife Lynn, niece Kimberly Ruscigno and nephew Jason, and three great-nephews and one great-niece.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday November 12th 5:00-9:00 pm with service at 8pm at Moloney's Lake Funeral Home, 132 Ronkonkoma Ave, Lake Ronkonkoma, NY 11779. Internment at Calverton National Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Frank’s life.
