To my Thibodaux bandmate, you are in that Great Place with the Lord Jesus Christ now. I just found out that you were deceased. We lost Leonard Queen a few days ago (drummer) and Raymond Dickerson (guitar) about three years ago. Our band Basic Stuff from the 70s was awesome and you sir gave us that fire. I will see you soon with great joy!

Thinking of Frank, Gwen and his family during his birthday month. He would always send out an email to his team to announce each of our birthdays. It would result in a fun group email chain going back and forth between the team full of laughs.

Hi Gwen. Nicole from Providence. I was thinking about y'all this morning and is when I learned of Frank's passing. I am so sorry for all your loss. I hope you're finding a new normal and are taking care of yourself.

I first met Frank when he walked through our community with his wife. He was a warm happy man. I had limited but several occasions to talk to him but he left an impact on my husband and my hearts. Any time we saw Gwen and Frank we smiled. He was a bright light and he will be missed greatly. May God give you and your family peace through this time.

Gwen,
May GOD continue to bless you and your family always! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. That was a wonderful Celebration of Life and Homegoing ceremony for Frank that I am grateful to have witness and be a part of. Frank and I met when we were at Tyndall (1993) where our journey began and I'm glad that I had the chance to meet him and get to know him over the years. From playing basketball together in our Tyndall days to playing ball in Kadena; we reconnected when he reached out to me after he learned that I too was employed by GSA in Region 4. Frank will always be my Big Brother; you and the kids will always be my family. He made an impact on my life and I will always be thankful that he was sent by GOD to be a part of my life! Love you all, take care and GOD bless!!

Frank Parker was one of the most authentic people I have ever known. Taking to him always gave me hope for humanity to unite our souls and rise up above in spirit for the greater good of all. He will be greatly missed and thought of regularly. May God give your family peace at this time. Susan

I met Frank on the tennis courts. My team, under the leadership of Judy Ronning, had made it to Sectionals. I had just been bumped to 4.0 a few months prior. How could I be at Sectionals? I was a brand new 4.0 and needed to be the "stronger" player as my partner would have less experience as a 3.0.
Judy said, "For your next match, I want you to play with Frank." I had not played with him, nor met him. This can happen that two players do not meet during the three-month tennis season. Within seconds on the competitive Sectional court, we were grinning and laughing at the joy of being on the court together and enjoying great rallies with our opponents. And that match? How did we do? We won. Yes, we won Sectionals. The United States Tennis Association has photographers covering these events. After the final winning point was secured, I ran into Frank's arms. A photograph caught the moment, and it was turned into a national poster. We went on to win Sectionals again the following year.

The day I met Frank Parker, changed me forever. His presence, attitude and Spirit took my heart away. His passing is hard, but I know he is at peace and with Jesus and that makes me happy. Gwen, thank you for the years of friendship! I pray that peace and comfort come to you and your family. God Bless you all!

Gwen and Family: Sending prayers love and condolences to you all during this difficult time. I will always remember Frank was a great family man, friend, teammate, coach, and man of high character. We shared some great times as teammates playing for Kadena Falcons Basketball in Okinawa and winning the 1998 MLK Championship.
Frank will definitely be missed. May God continue to comfort and keep you all lifted in celebration of the great memories of our dear brother.
Rest Easy Frank🙏🏾🙏🏾
Much love, God bless 🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾
