Delino; sisters LaVonne Brown and Melba Si-mons. Frank was born in Waldo, Ohio. He moved to Columbus in his early teens and attended Linden McKinley High School. He would say the best years of his life began when he met his beloved Judy. When she passed away, he was never the same as a piece of his heart died with her. The family is comforted in knowing he is now back in her arms for eternity. Frank was charismatic with a magnetic personality.
He could work a room like no one else. He would entertain and draw you in with countless stories, his signature one liners, and an uncanny sense of humor. He will be sorely missed by his many, many friends who felt the party really began when he arrived. Frank was brilliant with numbers and crossword puzzles. He loved sneaking treats to the dogs, reading the news-paper, indulging in sweets and watching Jeopardy nightly with a fireplace going. He was an avid Buckeye fan and attended most home games. He spent weekends watching football, basketball or golf. He enjoyed socializing with friends and family in both Florida and Ohio.
He could not have been prouder of his five grandchildren whom he adored and loved it when they spent holiday breaks with him and Judy. Frank will be forever treasured in the hearts of his five children. Daughters Kim (Robert) French; Joni (Ed-ward) Lavelle; Laura (Michael) Bean; Kari (Kirk Price) Hook; Son Nicholas Petitti; Grandchildren Taylor (Curtis) Chapin; Haylee (Matthew) Row; Kayla (Ryan) Stiers; Austin Bean; Lily Bean; Great-granddaughters Emery Stiers and Mila Chain; Brother-in-law Floyd Simons; sisters-in-law Virginia Ragan;
Patricia Dempsey; Mary McAlpin; Shannon (Steven) Diener; Many nieces and nephews; Devoted and dedicated longtime associate/ considered family David Benson; Three loyal, ride-or-die buddies always at his side, dogs Henry, Bear and Bella. Frank touched countless lives and left a void in so many hearts. There was simply no one like him. He will be missed by all who loved him and his loss will be forever felt. Per his request, there will be no funeral or service at this time. When you think of Frank, remember him with a smile and a story.
